Samsung Electronics sponsors generations for peace

Samsung Electronics Levant announced its sponsorship of the Generations for Peace initiative which was held recently in Amman. Whereby the four day advanced training tackled four main pillars, they are; Facilitation, Peace Building, Awareness and Partnerships, and Advanced Physical Sports and Activities.

The advanced training, which took place at the Generations for Peace head quarters in Amman, worked on both personal and group learning activities and provided the participants the opportunity to share their experiences and best practices, all aimed to ultimately meet their local communities’ needs.

Concluding the event, Samsung Electronics Levant presented the annual “Samsung Generations for Peace” Award, which is based on Innovation, Quality, Influence, and Sustainability. As with this sponsorship, Samsung Electronics Levant promotes the international values in promoting peace and utilizing sports to resolve conflicts and enforcing world peace in conflict torn communities.

Commenting on this vital partnership, Mr. Sangsuk Roh, Samsung Electronics Levant President said, “Our unique partnership with Generation for Peace solidifies our belief and commitment towards the communities we operate in, as a leading international corporation looking for means to instill social values among the youth, to promote world peace each in their own community.”
