The Ritz-carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert Appoints Gabriel Gusta as the New Recreation Manager

Gabriel Gusta, a travel, recreation and tourism professional with more than 5 years of professional recreation experience internationally as well as the MENA region, has recently been appointed as the Recreation Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert resort. Having joined The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah team since 2016, Gabriel has continued to facilitate a wide variety of activities and recreational training under his tenure. 

As a key implementer in overseeing day-to-day operations and maximizing quality of services, Gabriel marks his first managerial role at one of the world’s most luxurious resorts. In addition to the nature bound activities that outline the resort’s offerings, Gabriel will reinstate the uninhabitated Al Wadi Desert as a unique and must-visit destination amid a backdrop of natural floral and fauna that govern its terrain, as well as procure higher standards of excellence on visitor satisfaction. 

Aligning his goals with the brand’s four pillars of environmental and sustainable activities, Gabriel foresees meaningful consumer journey experiences through his guest relations abilities. By implementing newer activities through the resort’s ‘Adventure Center’, Gabriel aims to inspire, teach and showcase to guests through the resort’s array of experiences, including but not limited to- bird watching sessions, nature drives, archery sessions and equestrian lessons. Having been part of sustainable tourism practices with the Arabian Oryx conservation, Gabriel underlines the need for eco-conscious recreational activities that elevate the unique and memorable nature-bound experiences offered to each guest at the resort. 

Gabriel will also continue coordinating with The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert resort internal departments and recreational team to further identify and maintain continuous contact with external activity operators. With a background in organizing VIP and private activities, Gabriel brings his extensive experiences and specialization in 5-star hospitality industries from the UK, Middle-East and Africa to enrich the property’s recreational offerings.
