PwC Middle East welcomed another record breaking intake of almost 300 graduates this week into its offices across the Middle East. The graduates were selected from over 17,000 graduates who applied to join the firm’s 23 offices across the region.

PwC Middle East People Partner, Emma Campbell said:

“PwC is committed to recruiting graduate talent with a diverse range of experience, and the firm’s summer intake provides a compelling opportunity for students to join a structured programme fresh out of university that will help them set firm foundations for their careers.

Our graduates come from a wide diversity of academic backgrounds including accounting, banking and finance. This is just one aspect of the kind of diversity we value so highly in our graduate recruits.”

The new graduates will go through a week long induction with the firm’s leadership and will start a three year development programme within PwC Middle East. PwC offers an inclusive environment for all graduates throughout their careers, providing them with the resources, mentors and support leading to their success.

Hani Ashkar, PwC Middle East Territory Senior Partner, said:

“Welcoming our graduates is one of the most anticipated events of the year for PwC. Investing in young talent and empowering them to transform the region is not only a priority for us; as they bring with them new energy and diversity to our teams, but also a necessity for such a young region and one which we remain confident in and committed to serving.”

He added:

“Our firm’s growth strategy and recruitment approach is built upon hiring and developing talented graduates. Recruiting graduates from diverse backgrounds is key in positioning the right people into the right place within PwC.”
