2012 Annual Open Day underscores ALHOSN University’s competitiveness as higher education option in the UAE

ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality, value-based education, is inviting junior and senior high school students across the UAE to attend its 4^th Annual Open Day this coming Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the university’s Female Campus and find out why its academic programs represent some of the best higher education options in the country.

The annual event highlights ALHOSN’s academic programs, scholarships, international opportunities, track record and career placement services to students from the UAE, the Gulf region, and beyond.  Visitors will be shown exhibits of students’ works and projects reflecting the university’s unique learning paradigm of ‘global knowledge with local vision’ and will be given a tour of the campus facilities and laboratories.

This year’s Open Day will feature interactive sessions with faculty from all departments who will answer students’ and parents’ inquiries. Processing fees will also be waived for on-the-spot enrollment. Adding excitement are various games, surprises and raffle draws to be done every hour where lucky students will get the chance to win free TOEFL English-language testing exams, MP3 players and iPad 3s.

Named after Abu Dhabi's historic ALHOSN Palace, ALHOSN University was founded in 2005 by the Abu Dhabi Holding Company in response to growing local demand for high-quality, value-based educational institutions. It currently offers 12 undergraduate and 7 graduate programs under the Faculties of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. ALHOSN accepts students of all nationalities and also accommodates youths with special needs. All its programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
