Oman Oil Marketing Company Sets New Milestone in Safety at Mina Al Fahal

The joint venture between Oman Oil Marketing Company and Al Maha celebrated a new record in health and safety by completing 25 years without lost time injury (LTI) at the loading facilities and tank farm at the Mina al Fahal terminal. Over the years, the Company has been committed to embedding a culture of safety throughout its operations and implementing an effective Zero Harm policy.
Amer Suhail Jaboob, General Manager Supply Chain at Oman Oil Marketing Company, said, “As a world class terminal, we do not compromise on safety, we continuously look for ways to prevent accidents and assure that no accidents take place. Regular safety briefings, in house-training and emergency drills is our instrument to this achievement.”
He added, “We would have not achieved this milestone without the teamwork from our terminal employees. It is the safe and cautious behavior of the staff, contractors and the operation’s team that made this achievement possible.”
