Oman American Business Center and Ernst & Young Help Businesses Get VAT Ready

The Oman American Business Center (OABC) in collaboration with Ernst and Young (EY) will be hosting a Value Added Tax (VAT) Seminar to discuss the changes in the tax law and help prepare companies to be VAT-ready. To be held on September 10th at the InterContinental Hotel in Muscat, the session is open to the public including residents, business people and SME owners. The seminar will provide attendees with helpful insight, information and answers to key questions.
With the tax projected to be put into effect in the near future in the Sultanate, OABC and EY are working with companies throughout Oman to help them with this transition. The seminar will prepare participants to better understand how the new tax will impact multiple business functions within organizations, the importance of starting preparations early, and how they can make provisions for the change. The seminar cost is 50 OMR for members of the public and complimentary for members of the OABC. To register for the session, please visit www.oabc.org/events .
