Nawras has launched Oman’s first mobile music streaming service, giving customers unlimited streaming of their favourite Arabic, Western and international music using Anghami; one of the top entertainment apps in world.

“Using the strength of the Nawras Turbocharged network to offer high speed, smooth audio playback, our exclusive music streaming service allows customers get more with their smartphone,” said Feras Al Shaikh, Director of Consumer Sales. “In the past, customers were limited to purchasing music online with a credit card or a voucher. We realise how restrictive that can be and are now offering unlimited entertainment for all customers to download and listen to music at any time, without needing a credit card.”

To mark the launch of this exciting new service, Nawras is offering free access to Anghami+ Premium services for the first two months. Customers can unlock extra features that include creating playlists of their favourite songs and download a wide range of digital content to listen to offline and save on their device.

After the trial period, customers can continue to receive the streaming service or choose to upgrade to the full Anghami+ service for 399 Baisas each week. The charges will be deducted from customers’ remaining Nawras balance for prepaid, or added directly to their mobile bill for postpaid.

To activate the service, simply download the app from Google Play for Android or the Apple Appstore for iPhone. Customers need to send an SMS with the keyword ‘PREMIUM’ to 91978, to receive a download link from Nawras to be subscribed to the free Premium version. Both apps are free and compatible with Apple iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows phone operating systems.

Nawras is committed to bringing the latest technology to help customers in Oman stay connected and chooses industry-leading partners to offer the most advanced services in the Sultanate. More information about the new music streaming service can be found online by visiting www.nawras.om or at any of the 29 Nawras stores conveniently located across the country.
