Nakheel hoists UAE flag marking the 10th UAE flag day

Nakheel, the world-leading master developer, today held a UAE flag-raising ceremony to mark the 10th UAE Flag Day. Conferring its solidarity and allegiance to the country at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. The flag hoisting ceremony took place at the company’s Dubai headquarters at 11:00 AM.  

The event, attended by Nakheel board members and senior management, took place simultaneously with ceremonies at government departments and ministries across the country as a symbol of UAE’s unity. This was followed by the national anthem to mark the occasion.

Flag Day is celebrated on November 3rd every year. It is a national campaign that was launched in 2013 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, to honour the country’s past, present, and future.
