Global Village Breaks Guinness World Records Title on World Cancer Day 2021

Global Village, the UAE and wider region's leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, has claimed its latest Guinness World Records™ title, for a great cause. On February 4th, the park claimed the “Most Awareness Ribbons Made By A Team In One Hour” title to honour World Cancer Day 2021. The multi-coloured ribbons were then placed for guests to pick up in order to increase awareness.

Marked around the world every year to encourage and inspire action for a cancer-free future, World Cancer Day is an event that the Global Village family is proud to promote and take part in. Whilst Global Village is dedicated to providing the best in cultural shopping, dining, entertainment and attractions, its commitment to the community is an important part of its DNA.
