The Procter & Gamble Company, the world’s leading Beauty & Grooming Company, today announced the introduction of the New Gillette MACH3 Sensitive shaving system in the GCC countries. Designed to meet the needs of the many men who consider their skin sensitive, this new razor features blade technology that delivers less pressure on the skin, along with an enhanced Lubrastrip with Aloe Vera that delivers better lubrication, so men can experience an exceptionally close shave with less skin irritation-- even on the most sensitive areas of their face. 

Commenting on the launch of Gillette Mach 3 Sensitive, Amjad Ali, Gillette Brand Manager in the region, said “Gillette has always believed in enabling men to look and feel their best after shaving. Gillette’s deep understanding of men has led to research which reveals that more than one-third of all men suffer from extremely or very sensitive skin – and three out of every four men would consider their skin to be somewhat sensitive.  When men experience shaving irritation, it can feel physically uncomfortable – causing burning, tightness, dryness, itching and bumps – and it can have emotional ramifications as well, undermining men’s self confidence after the shave.   

Gillette knows men feel uncomfortable when they have red, irritated skin after shaving, and while they believe redness is an inevitable part of shaving, it doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. A good shaving regimen and a good skin care ritual gives men confidence.  

Amjad Ali further added that Gillette’s new MACH3 Sensitive razor, which has three progressively positioned blades that cut more hair, closer and in a single stroke will make shaving a much smoother practice. 

With the introduction of Gillette MACH3 Sensitive, Gillette has shown that irritation doesn’t have to be an inevitable part of shaving.  This new razor delivers an exceptionally close shave with less irritation, even on the most sensitive areas of the face - including the neck and jaw line.  New Gillette MACH3 Sensitive includes a range of features designed to enhance comfort and reduce irritation while shaving. These include: 

Three progressively aligned blades deliver less pressure on the skin, while each blade shaves the hair progressively closer. This delivers a more efficient shave with fewer total strokes and less irritation.

    Individually spring mounted blades and a pivoting head help the razor automatically adjust and respond to the curves of the face with each stroke.

    Enhanced Lubrastrip with Aloe Vera that provides more lubrication to help the blades glide easily over the skin.

    An elastomeric handle provides a secure grip and great control to help prevent nicks and cuts.

      Internal research shows that use of an advanced 3-blade shaving system like Gillette MACH3 Sensitive versus one or two blade disposables or double-edge razors can yield benefits such as more comfort both during and after the shave, freedom from nicks, cuts and irritation, as well as delivering a closer and cleaner shave.

      An Advanced Shave Care Regimen for Sensitive Skin
