DUBAL honoured by industrial CEO excellence award

Abdulla Jassim Kalban, President & CEO of Dubai Aluminium DUBAL the wholly state owned enterprise that operates the world’s largest single-site aluminium smelter using pre-bake anode technology was honoured on 4 April 2012 to receive the Industrial CEO Excellence Award at the 9^th Middle East CEO of the Year Awards, presented at a high profile awards ceremony in Dubai. Honorable Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, was the chief guest and keynote speaker.

The awards, hosted by the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute, honour successful government and business sector leaders whose vision, direction, exemplary contributions and initiatives have laid the groundwork for their organizations’ successes. DUBAL’s Khalid Essa Buhumaid (Vice President: Corporate Relations & International Affairs) received the award from Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia on Kalban’s behalf.
