Bank Nizwa Provides Different Ways for Zakat and Sadaqah Payments During Ramadan

Providing Shari’a-compliant banking solutions for all, Bank Nizwa is offering people the opportunity to pay their Zakat (almsgiving) and contribute with Sadaqah (charity) payments though dedicated accounts. This payment channel is open to everyone including those who do not have accounts with Bank Nizwa allowing contributions to be deposited and transferred with ease, while utilizing the bank’s Zakat calculator feature online, on-the-go and throughout its 13 branches across the Sultanate.

Bank Nizwa’s Sadaqah accounts are 001-22211222-001 in association with the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, 001-22200222-001 with Oman Charitable Organisation, and 001-22233222-001 with Dar Al Atta’a Association. Contributors can also pay Zakat to account number 001-22211222-001 by a standing order or a direct deposit through ATM/CCDMs and by utilizing the bank’s online and mobile channels to transfer the money directly to the accounts.
