AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Announces Opening of Registration for Rayaat Scholarship Program for the Next Academic Year
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has begun accepting applications for the Rayaat Scholarship Program for the coming academic year 2021 - 2022. Those wishing to register for the Rayaat Scholarship Program at the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Polytechnic can apply between the 14th of February to the 20th of February 2021.
This year, the program is awarding a number of bachelor degree with partnering universities, namely the University of Bahrain and Bahrain Polytechnic.
Due to the current situation amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has ensured that all stages of the registration and application process are conducted within the necessary precautionary measures.
The Rayaat program comes as part of the Foundation’s vision to empower Bahraini youth to achieve success, instill ambition, and provide opportunity for continued education, ultimately creating a generation equipped with the skills and knowledge required to develop and progress within society.
On this occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, expressed great happiness on the opening of registration for the Rayaat program in the coming period, stressing on the fact that the increase of Bahraini students working towards obtaining a university degree indicates a sense of determination in the coming generation.
The Foundation’s main focus is rooted in supporting students and encouraging them to grasp educational opportunities and initiatives that will enhance their personal development, as well as shape a strong future for them in the Kingdom.
Those wishing to apply for the Rayaat Scholarship program are able to register via the Foundation’s website www.mkfbh.org. The applicants will be selected after passing a series of assessments, with eligibility being determined by academic achievement, a personal interview, as well as additional extracurricular or volunteer work.
The Rayaat Scholarship program was launched in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to promote educational achievement and personal development. The program provides scholarships for students to join an accredited university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as offering many benefits including financial incentives, workshops and opportunities, while promoting a culture of ‘community responsibility” by instilling volunteerism and community service within a supportive environment.
