ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality, value-based education, recently concluded another successful Open Day at its Female Campus which impressed visiting and senior high school students with ALHOSN’s learning philosophy of ‘global knowledge with local vision.’

The annual Open Day assists students, parents, school counselors and advisors in obtaining more information about ALHOSN University. This year’s edition gathered 400 students from all Abu Dhabi Government & Private schools who were introduced to ALHOSN’s topnotch Business, Engineering and Education programs as well as scholarships, international opportunities, track record and career placement services. The university also emphasized its holistic approach to personal development through exhibits that showcased various student-supported social, cultural, environmental and charitable activities. Visitors were also given a tour of the campus and acquainted with key personnel and staff.

Adding fun and excitement to the event were various games and surprises, including an hourly raffle draw where lucky winners got to take home MP3 players and iPad 3s and receive free TOEFL English-language testing exam passes.

“The strong participation in this year’s Open Day is a testament to ALHOSN University’s success in projecting itself as an ideal choice for students who want to be involved in some of the region’s best careers and gain a competitive edge when they eventually seek employment. We look forward to welcoming many of our visitors as new members of the ALHOSN community and molding them into talented, ambitious and productive citizens,” said Prof. Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Vice Chancellor, ALHOSN University.

Named after Abu Dhabi's historic Al Hosn Palace, Al Hosn University was founded in 2005 by the Abu Dhabi Holding Company in response to growing local demand for high-quality, value-based educational institutions. It currently offers 12 undergraduate and 7 graduate programs under the Faculties of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. ALHOSN accepts students of all nationalities and also accommodates youths with special needs. All its programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
