First Iraqi cargo flight

According to <i>Azzaman</i> newspaper, the Interim Iraqi Prime Minister, Ayad Allawi, has recently inaugurated the first flight of a cargo S-130 airplane flown by an Iraqi staff, who belongs to the Iraqi National Air Forces. The plane carried Mr. Allawi to Sulaimaniya city in Iraq. The Iraqi captain of the mentioned plane described the mission as a "great honor" and expressed his appreciations to those who trained the Iraqi staff on board.

 

The Iraqi staff completed his training course on February 9th while another 4 staffs are currently being trained in Jordan, in addition to a fifth staff who is being trained in the USA.
