The Jeddah Chambers of Commerce and Industry Association recently organized a forum for family-owned international companies. The Arab Organization for Administrative Development and the Saudi Bin Laden Group took part in organizing the forum under the title “Reality and development horizons,” reported Al-Watan Several management specialists and executives from family-owned businesses will participate in the meeting.
Family-owned companies are the spinal cord of economies in the Arab World. Official statistics show that nearly 95 percent of total registered companies in the Middle East area are categorized as family-owned companies. — (menareport.com)
