The Egyptian Telecommunication and Information Minister, Ahmed Nazeef, revealed that his ministry is planning to invest 21.5 billion Egyptian pounds (EP) over the next five years to develop the existing telephone network and install new telephone lines throughout all of Egypt’s districts.
According to Al-Ahram newspaper, the ministry will invest EP 4.5 billion to expand, modernize and develop the existing telephone networks and switching stations
In addition, the ministry will direct another EP 16.5 billion to install new telephone networks and switching stations throughout the various Egyptian districts. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
