ALBAWABA – Apple, the American multinational corporation and technology company, launched its new AirPods 4 yesterday at the annual conference. The latest AirPods introduce new features with the ability to help people with hearing losses and challenges. Moreover, users of the new iPhone 16 will have access to a new medical audio test developed by the company.

The company stated that the new software update for the latest AirPods will include an audio test to measure hearing levels in decibels. The AirPods 4 are designed to function as a hearing aid, while also enhancing sounds during face-to-face conversations and phone calls.
According to Apple, the AirPods 4 will feature a new hearing test that involves listening to a series of quiet sounds that gradually increase in volume. Users will tap the screen each time they detect a tone. The test must be completed for both ears, and users will receive a decibel hearing level (dB HL) score to help determine if they have moderate or severe hearing loss.

As a result, users with hearing loss can automatically adjust their AirPods’ audio settings to improve their hearing experience. It is worth noting that the AirPods feature a microphone that can detect and process external sounds, amplify important sounds like human speech, and provide an automatic hearing protection that reduces various noises.
It is worth mentioning that Apple was accused previously of causing hearing damages to its users through its popular iPod music player. The company is now working hard to enhance hearing health and assist people with hearing challenges and losses.
