ALBAWABA – Apple, the American multinational corporation and technology company, said the new iPhone 16 Apple will be launched with an A18 AI chip. The chip is developed by Arm, a leading company in semiconductor technologies, owned by SoftBank Group, and represents the latest advancement in the V9 chip generation.
iPhone 16 AI chip
Apple is set to announce the release of the new iPhone 16 series, in addition to other devices, at the annual conference on September 9, 2024, at the company’s headquarters in California, integrating artificial intelligence for the first time.
According to the Financial Times, the company will announce new devices with AI chips developed by Arm company. It is worth noting that Apple signed an agreement with Arm previously in September 2023.

The new AI chip is designed to enhance the performance of the virtual assistant Siri, enabling new features like creating custom emojis, photo editing, and utilizing internal AI models.
Arm company
Arm, a leading company in semiconductor technologies owned by SoftBank Group, holds the intellectual property for smartphones computing architecture globally. The company licenses its technology to Apple, which uses it to design custom chips for iPhones, iPads, and Mac’s devices.
The new Apple Watch
Majin Bu, a social media content creator and leaker, said the new Apple Watch – series 10 will have thin bezels and a larger display. Other sources said the new watch will feature a sleep apnea detection and will be more resistant to water and dust.
