Verve from STC provides a wide range of choices and multiple applications

As part of its unique offering to provide broadband services by using an integrated approach inside and outside the home while providing a full suite of comprehensive internet services to its customers, STC continues to drive its fiber optics network (VERVE) with two packages (100 mega and 40 mega) with an aim to achieve increased growth in homes connected with fiber optics across the Kingdom. The service is now available in key cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Ihsaa, Madinah, Makkah, Abha, Jizan, Taif, Buraidah, Eneizah, Jubail offering safe internet and creating a visible transformation in Saudi homes.

The increase in demand on the service came about in a short time following the launch of the two packages due to the fact that they provide quick internet services, lead the market with smart home applications, and transform Saudi homes to a new era. STC is the first to provide Fiber to the Home (FTTH), safe internet to the home at high speeds ranging from 40 to 100 mega based on the package and with attachment speed of 10 mb allowing all members of the family to browse the internet, transfer data, upload programs, and perform all current and future applications such as interactive networking games, video calls, distance electronic learning, health sector and others such as high definition television channels and viewing television stations that show 3D content. In addition to that, the service is competitively priced and is considered the lowest in the region add to that the wide range of packages (limited and open) that allows customers to select what is suitable for them in terms of speeds based on their requirements.

The Company has entered a new phase in terms of its achievements, a step to cope with the changing world of technology and stay abreast with the phenomenal internet speeds where the company stopped all old copper installations due to their limited capacity and their inability to cope with the needs to the Company and its customers. The Company is now using fiber technology to provide its new services due to its ability to transfer data, provide unlimited internet speeds.  Initially this created some obstacles when installing the new technology in old buildings. STC contacted the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Municipalities, and developers to integrate fiber optics as part of the Saudi Building Code with a purpose to upgrade buildings with new technology and prepare them for the future which relies primarily on new technology. The Company launched an extensive program to expand its network across the Kingdom and reinforce its infrastructure covering the new residential areas, upgrade its installations in the older neighborhoods to enable all customers to enjoy the VERVE service and benefit from its unique features.
