Egyptian actor Tal’at Zakaria stated that he is willing to resign and end his acting career, if it is the wish of people that took part in Egypt’s January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak. The actor stressed that regardless of anyone’s wishes; he will never give up his patriotism and will always fight for his country.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Tal’at said in an interview with the Egyptian satellite channel ‘Dream’ that being on the black list of boycotted artists, which was created by revolutionaries, is meaningless to him, for he knows that the Egyptian people love him for the mere fact that he is a good hearted person. He added that if the revolutionaries placed him on the black list and want him to resign, he is willing to do so to ease their minds.
Tal’at stated that if he is the problem he is willing to step down and will give up everything.
