Producer of the drama series “Malikah fi al Manfi” (A queen in exile) Ismael Kutkut denied circulating rumors that the drama, which stars prominent Egyptian actress Nadia Al Jundi, indirectly insults prominent figures from the past. Ismael stressed that the makers of the drama were very careful that the finest details from history were presented in the most accurate way possible without insulting anyone.
In a press release from Ismael’s office, it was said that when the drama was written it was referenced by historical books.
The drama is written by Rawiah Rashid and Dr. Ashraf Mohammad. Direction is by Mohammad Zuhair Rajab and Wael Fahmi Abd Al Hameed. Actors Mahmoud Qabeel and Kamal Abu Rayah costar alongside Nadia.
