Mohamed Salah did not hide his frustration after scoring twice in Liverpool's hard-fought 3-2 win over Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Egypt international is off contract in June, and is yet to hear from the club in regards to a renewal.

He spoke to NBC about his future, and said: “Well, we are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club. I’m probably more out than in.

“I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. I love the fans. The fans love me. It is not in my hands or the fans’ hands. I’m just doing my best because this is who I am and I try to give it all for myself and the club, he added.

“I’m not going to retire soon, so I’m just playing, focusing on the season and I’m trying to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League. I’m disappointed, but we will see.”

Salah has 12 goals and ten assists in 18 games across all competitions this season so far.
