Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic has officially announced his retirement from refereeing at the age of 46, just one week after taking charge of the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
The Football Association of Slovenia confirmed the news of Vincic's retirement. He ended his professional career in the best possible way after recently being chosen to referee the biggest match in football, the World Cup final.
