Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed he still loves Manchester United, despite an underwhelming second spell at Old Trafford.

The Real Madrid legend left the Red Devils in November 2022 by mutual agreement, and went on to sign for Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr two months later.

However, the 39-year-old criticized United and boss Erik ten Hag during a controversial interview with Piers Morgan in his final days at the club.

In a new interview with Rio Ferdinand, Ronaldo insisted that he "still loves" the English giants.

The veteran striker said: "We cannot control some points in our life sometimes, but it's done... I repeat, I still love Manchester United and I wish them the best."

Ronaldo had a total of 346 appearances for United across all competitions during his two spells.
