Real Madrid want French legend Zinedine Zidane to provide assistance to his struggling compatriot Kylian Mbappe.

Real president Florentino Perez has turned to the team's former coach to give advice to the striker who needs to rebuild his confidence.

Zidane enjoys a close relationship with the 25-year-old, and was involved in convincing Mbappe to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid in the summer.

However, the French star is suffering from a worrying lack of confidence, accompanied by the team's ongoing crisis.

He has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 18 appearances, but more is demanded from a player of his caliber.
