Oman Celebrates Gulf Cup Win

Oman's triumphant football team received heroes welcome when they landed in Muscat after winning the Gulf Cup in Kuwait. The Gulf Cup champions arrived in the country on a Royal Air Force of Oman plane.

Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court, personally received the members of the victorious Oman football team.

An official welcoming ceremony was held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher where thousands had gathered to give a rousing reception to their winning team.

The team with the Gulf Cup was paraded inside the stadium in a horse cart as thousands cheered.
