The Roman Catholic church, which was named “Our Lady of Arabia," is the largest cathedral in the Gulf. It was inaugurated in Bahrain on Thursday at a cost of over $14.5 million.
The Roman Catholic Church is located 20 kilometers south of the Bahraini capital, Manama. According to local media, the cathedral can host around 2,300 people and will serve the 80,000 Catholic Christians living in the Gulf state.
Furthermore, "The Sacred Heart Church," the first-ever Roman Catholic church in the region and was also built in Manama back in 1939.
The Catholic church also has a unique interior design and amazing artworks.
