From Japan, to Spain, to the United Kingdom, people around the world are participating in protests against Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to order the invasion of Ukraine quickly turned him and Russia into global pariahs, leading governments, corporations and everyday people to turn against them. The United Nations has reported that 549 civilians have been killed in Ukraine so far, an estimation which they say is likely much lower than the true number killed, and that nearly 2.6 million people have fled Ukraine in the fastest growing refugee crisis since World War II.
