How Africa Celebrates Being Together

Africa Celebrates Africa Day. In 1963 Africa founded the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) which brought the continent together. Since then, 25 May has been celebrated across the world, particularly in Africa to signify the continent's identity and unity.

On this occasion Africans on the continent is holding cultural activities, film, music, and food. 

Africa Day, an annual commemoration during Africa Month intends to uphold greater unity and solidarity between African countries, and also to strive for accelerated political and socio-economic integration of the continent.
