A Day of Awareness, Demonstrations For World Water Day

Published March 23rd, 2022 - 08:33 GMT

Since 1993 the United Nations has held World Water Day on March 22 to both celebrate and raise awareness on how water use affects people around the world. The day highlights initiatives actively working to protect water sources and improve water access to impoverished communities. It also documents and highlights the issues such communities face when it comes to their sources of water, issues which are becoming worse and more widespread as time goes on.
