Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today announced the introduction of RC Notebook series with the launch of the 14.0” RC420, 15.6” RC520 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The combination of a sleek modern design, latest second generation Intel CoreTM i5 Processor, powerful hybrid processors, exceptional display brightness, ultra-convenient product features and enhanced battery, the RC series will appeal to a wide-range of customers looking for a high-performance device.

“A reliable longer battery lifespan is vital to notebook PC and this is enhanced on the RC series additions with the inclusion of Samsung’s PowerPlus battery technology.” Park continued, “With standard testing RC series battery duration is 7 hours* and in actual usage example while watching a DVD movie the battery duration is an impressive 4 hours which is very high with a super bright HD display screen. Also intelligent charging of the PowerPlus battery technology allows the battery lifespan up to 1,000 recharges-three times longer than conventional battery. This makes the RC Series both economical for the user and ecologically friendly as fewer batteries need to be replaced. Functionality is also improved through the addition of a numeric keypad for increased ease of use. To provide a swift and productive performance, Samsung Fast Start technology allows users getting started within a few seconds of opening the display or pressing the power button. An innovative hybrid sleep mode combines the fast start-up of sleep with the stability of hibernation, so you don’t have to wait 30-60 seconds for the notebook to boot-up.”
