Qtel joins Pan-Arab Games 2011 as Diamond sponsor

The Pan-Arab Games Organizing Committee today announced the signing of a Diamond category sponsorship contract with Qtel.
The contract was signed by H.E. Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Qatar Olympic Committee Secretary General & Chairman of the Pan Arab Games Organising Committee and H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Saud Al-Thani, Chairman of Qtel, on behalf of Qtel.
This will be the 12th Pan-Arab Games. The multi-sport event is organised by the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees. The first Games took place in 1953 in Alexandria, Egypt, with the intent to be held every four years. The Pan-Arab Games feature athletes competing in some 36 sports.

The sponsorship signing ceremony was attended by Khaled Hamad Al Mohannadi, Pan-Arab Games Executive Director, Abdulrahman Mosallam Al Dosari, Pan-Arab Games Marketing Director, and Abdulla Al Mulla, Media and Broadcasting Director and Spokesman, Pan-Arab Games 2011.
