QRCE Supports ArabNet 2011 Amman Edition

Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE) partners with the International Business Alliance Group IBAG to organize the ArabNet 2011, Amman workshop.
ArabNet workshop, which will be held in eight Arab countries falls within the preparations for ArabNet 2011 Conference. Conducted in its second round, ArabNet attempts to connect entrepreneurs, talents, and creative entities on a regional level.
It is worth mentioning that ArabNet team has begun their field trip on the ArabNet 2011 Roadshow Bus, visiting Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, and Egypt.
"We always strive to support such kind of entrepreneurial initiatives on a regional level, considering their importance in achieving continuous economic development and creating career opportunities for a promising, creative youth," said Farhan Kalaldeh, the Executive Director of QRCE.
Omar Christidis, the founder of ArabNet said, "Our aim is to act upon a valuable initiative that empowers Entrepreneurship regionally, as the ArabNet team will spend three weeks visiting their counterparts in Arab countries, raising awareness regarding the importance of Entrepreneurship in the region and the role it plays in the economic growth."
He pointed out that each workshop will include a talk on evaluating beneficial ideas and developing them into a project study, before delving into a discussion with a team of experts who in their turn will highlight useful financial and legal points on establishing a business, in addition to illustrating ways to acquire funding and knowledge on development.
Several organizations and private sector companies are participating in supporting this conference including Audi Bank, Aramex, Google, Central Bank of Lebanon. In addition to Qualcomm and MBC group as the strategic media partner.
Furthermore, MIT Business Plan Competition and ArabNet 2011 formed a strategic alliance, by which 30 entrepreneur winners in this contest will be given full-grants to participate in ArabNet 2011 Conference. Grants will be announced during Roadshow team's tour, as an incentive for the youth to part in it.
