Nokia Siemens Networks organises Saudi Industry Seminar

Nokia Siemens Networks, a leading global enabler of telecommunications services, is hosting a Saudi Industry Seminar 2011 on Sunday 22 May 2011, under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Mohamed Jamil Bin Ahmed Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Saudi Arabia.

The seminar is entitled: “Shaping the Communications Industry in the Kingdom,” and offers the opportunity for high-level decision makers to discuss opportunities within Saudi Arabia’s telecommunications space, whilst also meeting, connecting and strengthening ties between companies, government agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that contribute to the advancement of this critical sector.

The Saudi Industry Seminar 2011 will begin with a look at the changing role and impact of telecommunications on society and the economy. Attendees will be treated to a snapshot of current market conditions in Saudi Arabia, and will discuss how to deliver a profitable customer experience and how to adapt current business models. The final session will look at broadband and the opportunities it offers for technology leverage, given the exceptionally high penetration rate of broadband connectivity in the Kingdom.
