ALBAWABA - A video circulated the internet allegedly showing the captain of a vessel seized by Yemen's Houthi group enjoying his time on the ship.

In the alleged video, which was virally shared on social media, the captain of the ship was spotted sitting beside Houthi members.

Furthermore, in the footage, a Houthi member was spotted playing the Aud instrument and singing next to an Asian man who was doubted to be the captain of one of the Israeli-linked ships seized by the Houthi group.

Then the man, who was allegedly said to be the captain of the seized ship, was also seen taking a video of the Yemeni singer.

A caption on the video read: "The captain of the ship is liking the situation. The first party on the vessel is for free."

The video has sparked debate on social media, especially as no official source has confirmed the clip that was widely posted on social media causing a wide buzz.

However, an X user commented on the video to clarify that the video shared allegedly claiming that it was taken on one of the ships seized by the Houthi group is in fact an old video of a Chinese man on a trip in Yemen.

Yemen's Houthi group has announced earlier to target any ship that is related or linked directly or indirectly to Israel following Tel Aviv airstrikes on the Gaza Strip which killed over 15,000 people since Oct. 7.

Health workers in the Gaza government reported that over 6,000 children were killed and that more than 37,000 others were injured in the Israeli offensive attacks.
