ALBAWABA - A video circulating across social media showcasing Israeli soldiers mocking the suffering of Palestinians amid the ongoing aggression on Gaza angered human rights and pro-Palestine activists alike.
The video in question had the Israeli soldiers mocking the Palestinians through a series of dehumanizing and traumatizing gestures while being covered in mud imitating the grueling conditions Gazans are currently living with.
A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) claimed that the gestures were made in hopes of "dehumanizing" the Palestinians who have gone through losing some and all family members due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza. The video was first shared on TikTok and made its way to other social media platforms after receiving a plethora of hate comments criticizing it.

The user added, " I doubt these problematic brats have ever set foot in Gaza, but for the sake of a mocking video on TikTok, they attacked Israel. This is how you gain respect from the "most moral army in the world" and popularity in the "only democratic entity" in the Middle East."

By the time of writing this article, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has resulted in the killing of more than 36,000 Palestinians of whom are children (not counting the ones buried under the rubble), as reported by the ministry of health in Gaza.
Additionally, at least 82,000 Palestinians since Oct. 7 were injured due to the constant bombardment from Israel leaving many Gazans homeless, displaced, and malnourished.
