ALBAWABA - In a startling revelation, the  Israeli occupation intelligence community faces a significant setback as Hamas executes a daring attack that catches them off guard. Avi Issacharoff, renowned for his work on the  Israeli occupation series "Fauda," finds reality mirroring fiction as the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades launch an extensive assault, dubbed the "Al-Aqsa Flood," on settlements in the Gaza periphery.

This unforeseen attack, occurring just 43 days ago, mirrors a dismissed idea from a brainstorming session for "Fauda," where a massive operation by Hamas fighters breaches the Gaza- Israeli occupation barrier. The irony is not lost as the very individual, Avi, dismisses the idea in the series, only to witness it unfold in reality.

The failure of  Israeli occupation intelligence, known for its formidable reputation and a budget exceeding $5 billion annually, raises questions about the efficacy of its operations. The last time such confidence in  Israeli occupation security was shattered dates back fifty years to the October 1973 war, a classic example of intelligence failure.

As the investigation unfolds, it becomes clear that Hamas has outsmarted the  Israeli occupation intelligence apparatus, despite its advanced technology and substantial budget increases under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The strategic failure to predict and counter the Hamas attack leads to prolonged and costly consequences for the occupying entity.

Israeli occupation intelligence agencies, including Shin Bet and Mossad, failed to foresee the Hamas plot, despite warnings and signs. The internal Shin Bet research unit, established in 1987, had been marginalized over the years, contributing to the lapse in intelligence capabilities.

Notably, the increase in intelligence budgets, reaching $2.4 billion in 2018, with hidden allocations raising concerns about transparency. Netanyahu's focus on security-oriented policies and increased defense spending fails to prevent the intelligence failure.

Additionally, the weard thing is how Hamas exploited vulnerabilities in  Israeli occupation intelligence, emphasizing the failure of Unit 8200 to eavesdrop on Hamas communication. It reveals that Hamas successfully established its intelligence apparatus, surpassing  Israeli occupation's capabilities in intercepting calls and emails.

The unexpected attack costs  Israeli occupation not only in security but economically, with the ongoing war incurring a daily cost of $260 million, surpassing $8 billion in losses since the Gaza aggression began. The  Israeli occupation Ministry of Finance estimates potential losses exceeding $50 billion if the conflict persists.

In a twist of irony, the intelligence community's failure reflects a similar mistake made during the October War, emphasizing the need for a reassessment of intelligence strategies. The consequences of this failure extend beyond the military realm, potentially leading to a financial catastrophe for the occupying entity.

The situation is developing, as  Israeli occupation launched a ground invasion of Gaza after the resounding failure and shame that befell their forces, and they are still promoting lies to cover up their continued failure in the ground invasion. The world today has become convinced of the weakness of this occupying entity after all these losses and incapacities
