An employee of the Circus told the German outlet in shock, "We can't believe what's happened." Ralf Huppertz, the chief of Germany's circus association, stated that it's unusual for an experienced artist like Marina B. not to survive a fall like this, adding that she might have suffered from a health issue during the incident.

He added that she might've gotten dizzy while on the trapeze, leading to her fall. Local police later confirmed that Marina was not using a safety rope during the performance. However, they outlined that she wasn't legally required to do so.

Marina B took great pride in her career, as evidenced by her final Instagram post, which featured a photo of herself on the trapeze, accompanied by the caption, "Up here, I work best."
