ALBAWABA - A Syrian father filmed himself while violently attacking his little girl in the city of Gaziantep in Turkey.
The clip, which went viral on social media in a few hours, showed the "heartless" father abusing his 2-year-old child, taking a video of the attack and then sending the clip to his ex-wife (the girl's mother).
The Turkish news agency "DHA" reported that the incident occurred on April 4, when the father beat his daughter with his hands and feet, pulled her hair, and threw her to the ground, in a scene devoid of humanity.

Some Turkish and Syrian media outlets reported that the mother had fled her husband after years of abuse and had sought divorce to protect her life.
The man, identified as Yousef, is living in Gaziantep city and he was arrested by the Turkish authorities after the clip circulated on social media. Some claimed that the Syrian man is addicted to drugs, however, no official source confirmed this theory.
Meanwhile, the Gaziantep Governorate announced in an official statement that the child had been handed over to the care of the Family and Social Services Directorate, where she was placed under protection to ensure her physical and psychological well-being.
On the other hand, activists online said that the little child was taken to the hospital and she is suffering from concussion, but she is now getting the necessary medical care.
