Shocking new details on raping, killing of Sudanese infant Janet in Egypt

ALBAWABA - Three months ago, social media users were shocked by the story of the Egyptian man who raped and killed a Sudanese infant in a horrific way. Yesterday, the court held its second session in the case and revealed shocking new details.

The story of the Sudanese Infant:

Janet Goma, the 10-month-old Sudanese baby, was found dead with signs of sexual assault in a park in Nasr City on April 19, as first reported by the Refugees platform in Egypt.

According to the sources, the Sudanese infant Janet lives with her family in Madinat El-Amal in Nasr City and she was reported missing before being found dead.

Egypt's prosecution released a decision that included "expediting police investigations into the incident, conducting an autopsy of Janet's body, preparing an autopsy report indicating the cause of death, and conducting a drug test on the suspect."

The Egyptian man who committed the horrific crime was arrested by the Egyptian authorities and was placed in jail as the court is preparing sessions to uncover all details in the case.

What's new in Janet's case:

During the second session in the Giza Criminal Court, held on Saturday, a psychiatric report revealed a surprise in the case of the murder and rape of the Sudanese child, Janet, in Egypt, as it confirmed the integrity of the killer’s mental faculties.

The court received the psychiatric report at the beginning of the session, which confirmed that when the killer committed the crime, he had full mental faculties and was aware of what he was doing.
