ALBAWABA - As Ramadan started, many people took to social media to ask whether the famous Ramadan drink "Vimto" is part of the boycott campaign for Gaza.

Pro-Palestinian activists have been carrying out a strict boycott campaign against several brands and products, including McDonald's, Starbucks, Nestle, Carrefour, and many more, since the start of the latest Israeli aggression against Gaza.

This Ramadan is expected to be super different from previous ones as many people are calling to cancel outside and inside decorations in sympathy with the people in Gaza who are facing famine amid the lack of aid.

Many questioned on social media whether Vimto is part of a boycott campaign which pro-Palestinian activists launched in favor of Palestinians in Gaza.

Despite that, the company producing Vimto has not made any political declarations regarding the Gaza war and preferred to stay neutral, Lancashire Telegraph revealed that Vimto has been viewed as an alternative to Coca-Cola.

Furthermore, Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company (ACCBC) is the authorised manufacturer and distributor of Rani and Barbican brands and the licensed manufacturer in the Middle East for VIMTO.

Nonetheless, according to Falasteeni website, Vimto is part of Coca-Cola which is being boycotted by activists due to its support of the Israeli occupation.
