ALBAWABA - After receiving backlash across social media for euthanizing beloved social media personality, 'Peanut the Squirrel,' New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation's Head of Law, Karen Pryzklek has reportedly deleted her X/ Twitter account, according to users on social media.
This all comes in after Peanut the Squirrel and a raccoon named Fred were seized by New York authorities as they raided their caretaker's home in Pine City, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, according to owner Mark Longo.
On Friday, the DEC and Chemung County Department euthanized the animals in question causing outrage on several social media outlets for "animal cruelty" and "inhumanity".
Moreover, both animals were euthanized to get tested for rabies after the squirrel bit an individual, as reported by Mint.
