ALBAWABA - A village doctor in Norway is accused of raping and sexually assaulting 87 women and filming them either inside his surgery or in their homes.
According to the Daily Mail report, the rapes happened over 20 years and the victims were aged between 67 and 14 (at the time of the attacks).
Media reports confirmed that Arne Bye, a 55-year-old gynaecologist, was charged with misusing his position for sexual assaults against women.
Bye had contacted a total of 94 women, including two females who were underage at the time of the alleged rapes.
The village doctor was a former municipal superintendent. He is facing over 20 years in jail after pleading guilty to three rape counts as well as 35 cases of abuse of position.
According to the Daily Mail, Norway police seized over 6,000 hours of video material, most of which contained gynaecological examinations made on patients without their knowledge.
Reports revealed shocking details that Bye allegedly inserted a 'deodorant-like', a 'bottle-like' and a cylindrical object into the women.
