For a week now, Morocco has been living the shock of locating the missing 11-year old Adnane Bouchouf; who was found dead after being raped, as the public started online calls demanding an end to children kidnappings in the country.

Social media took to Twitter to mourn the tragic death of Bouchouf, whose absence from his parent's house on the 7th of September had alerted the public of the increasing number of child kidnapping cases in the country.
According to the police, Bouchouf's body was buried near his family home in Tangier to the northwest of Morocco. Investigations have revealed that the 11-years old boy was tortured and raped prior to his death, which has ignited more anger on a national level as people have voiced out their worry that such crimes could continue to take place if authorities don't take serious action against criminals.
Not only was their beloved child kidnapped, brutally raped, but also slaughtered and deprived a life he deserved to live.

Online commentators called on the government to sentence the perpetrator with the death penalty so other pedophiles think again before endangering kids' lives.
Some tweets also highlighted that officials should do everything possible to protect other Morccoan kids, who remain missing and try to bring them safely back to their homes.
