ALBAWABA - A Jordanian restaurant has caused a storm on social media over a game about Palestine being distributed to children who come to eat.
A photo of the puzzle was shared by the "MemeManDanInAClan" account on Jordan's subReddit with the poster questioning the name of the restaurant.
The paper shows Palestinian kids standing on one side while their family is on the other hand. "Help Palestinian children to find their family," the game reads.
The photo caused controversy on Reddit with some people accusing the restaurant of trying to attract more visitors by triggering their sympathy for the Palestinian cause. "The word Palestinian has become a source of sympathy and interaction," a person commented.
Meanwhile, others defended the restaurant by saying that the restaurant's intention may be pure, but the implementation is incorrect and wrong.
On the other hand, some users called to boycott such restaurants for trying to use the Palestinian pain for their benefit.
Furthermore, a person on Reddit said that these kinds of games are being distributed to kids at "charity events for Palestine, with a lot of facts about Palestine and some quizzes with Palestine facts."
