ALBAWABA - Former Hamas hostage Mia Schem was spotted at the Oscars 2024, despite her earlier claim that she was suffering from a psychological crisis.
Mia Schem was previously taken hostage by Hamas fighters on Oct.7 during the Al-Aqsa Flood operation which Al-Qassam Brigades carried against Israel.
Schem, 21, was seen on the red carpet at the Oscars in Los Angeles on Feb. 10, in full elegance and strength, despite her claim that she is facing a psychological crisis after 54 days of captivity in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli hostage Mia Schem at Oscars 2024, how did she get there?
Mia wore a long white dress and appeared with a splint on her broken hand. Nonetheless, Israeli hostage Mia Schem placed a "yellow ribbon” on her chest, to express solidarity with the remaining prisoners in Gaza, who were not released either in the prisoner exchange deal between Hamas and Israel.
Not only did Mia attend the Oscars 2024, which is receiving worldwide attention, but she also did a photo session in the streets of Los Angeles.
Mia was released as part of a prisoner exchange deal on Dec. 1, 2023.
According to X users, the Israeli hostage Mia was invited to the Oscars party held by the legendary singer Sir Elton John, during which he also made an unequivocal statement of support for Israel.
Mia Schem meets former Miss Iraq at Oscars 2024
Besides attending the Oscars 2024, the Israeli hostage met the controversial former Miss Iraq Sarah Idan, who previously paid a visit to Israel to sow sympathy after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation carried out by Hamas fighters.
Sarah wore a black dress decorated with yellow cloth, on which were written the names of Israeli hostages held by Hamas, along with the phrase "Send them home."
