ALBAWABA -  Israeli and recent Hamas hostage Mia Schem is the talk of the internet amid photos surfaced of the individual looking quite different from her previous appearance on social media.

The Israeli seems to have undergone plastic surgery for her nose which replaced her natural-looking nose with one that is considered to be a beauty standard nowadays. In medical terms, she went from a "Convex" nose to a "Concave" one.

In response to these surfaced photos, pro-Palestine users and activists took to social media platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter) to state their opinion with most comments coming out as negative towards the individual:

"We thought she was still going through hell".

"She's out here getting a nose job while Gazans are dying from constant bombing and starvation".

"She had to get that cliche Israeli nose fixed".

"She is not proud of her heritage and genetics".

The photos in question were first shared on an Instagram account called "Ifat Hilleli Avraham" with a caption that said in Hebrew:

"Besides the mental and physical rehabilitation since returning from Hamas captives, Mia there has undergone a cosmetic change in the last days - and the women here will testify that an external change that disturbs almost always leads to a mental change, browse the photos and give Mia a like".

Mia claims that the reason she went with this surgery was because of the things she went through as a Hamas hostage. She also recently got a tattoo inspired by the "October 7" incident that says "We will dance again, 7.10.23".
