ALBAWABA - Israeli controversial social media personality Edy Cohen posted photos of bags full of money and claimed that they belonged to Al-Qassam Brigades leader Muhammad Sinwar.

Cohen shared a picture on X (formerly Twitter) and said that the bags were found under Sinwar's bed.

Furthermore, the Israeli influencer allegedly said that the amount of money found in the bags was 5 million Israeli Shekel (approximately $1.3 million).

Edy Cohen shared a photo of the bags claimed to be found in the house of Muhammad Sinwar and wrote: "5 million Shekel, approximately $1.3 million, were found in the home of one of the wives of Muhammad Sinwar, Yahya Sinwar’s brother."

Meanwhile, Edy Cohen was heavily blasted and mocked on social media after posting a photo of the money claiming to belong to Muhammad Sinwar.

A person commented: "This proved the failure of the Israeli armed forces in detaining Al-Qassam fighters." Another added: "It is clear that the money was placed by the IDF."

The Israeli forces posted a photo of the money bags on X account and wrote: "You are looking at 5,000,000 NIS, which is roughly over $1,000,000."

The post maintained: "What could this money have been used for? Provisions of clean water, electricity and fuel for the residents of Gaza."

Days ago, the Israeli army posted a video of a man claiming him to be Muhammad Sinwar inside one of the Al-Qassam Brigades tunnels in Gaza.
