Spain secured a comfortable 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia today at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, USA, in the second round of the FIFA 2026 World Cup group stage.
The Spanish team practically killed the game in the first half. After the first goal went in, the Saudi players looked like they had given up and couldn't find a way back into the match.

Spain opened the scoring in the 11th minute through star Lamine Yamal. Mikel Oyarzabal then quickly added a second goal in the 21st minute and a third in the 24th. Early in the second half, a shot from Marc Cucurella deflected off Hassan Tambakti for an own goal in the 49th minute.
As it stands, Spain tops Group H with 4 points. Uruguay is in second place with 1 point, Cape Verde in third with 1 point, and Saudi Arabia sits at the bottom with 1 point.
